Just Tell The Truth

"Just Tell the Truth"

When you tell the truth
you are set free from the chains that bind.
The truth can hurt someone
The truth can free someone
The truth will hurt someone
The truth will set you free.
Why does the truth hurt?
Why does it set you free?
Pondering the answers to these two questions
Brought me to a place of Honesty with myself.
If you cannot tell the truth when you are in a relationship
Then there is no relationship at all.
If your relationship is based on untruths,
Then what is the basis for that relationship?
To tolerate and spare each others feelings?
I think not, I would rather be hurt by the truth
Than left in the dark to wonder what or why!
Next time you are tempted to tell a lie just to spare someone's feelings,
Think twice about that, and just tell the Truth!!!
Author's Notes: Telling the truth is the basis for any relationship. Honesty a key, and do be honest with yourself first and everything else will fall into place.
