Haunted Lover,
Why do you keep creeping into my dreams
I awaken with you on my mind.
I can't escape from you,
You are there taunting and calling me
I am horrified to think that I might still care
After all the pain you have caused me
I am angry that I might still love you
Why do you still haunt me so?
I have released you many times,
you are but a memory, I thought,
Could I still care for you?
I tell myself No, it is impossible,
But then why do I dream of you?
Am I going mad?
No I dare say, I am not mad,
I am a compassionate human being
I find it very difficult to hate, or turn my back
On another human being, less fortunate and in pain
Oh haunted lover, leave me alone
Let me Be
I want relief from thee!
To give me relief I first must banish all of you
from my mind and heart and soul.
I forgive myself and I will love again someday!
Oh Haunted Lover, Let me Be!
Author's Notes: I am having difficulty letting my last love go, and out of my mind, He was a memorable one, that he was. I am doing very well, though, and soon to be over him for real! It is all right to take your time to release someone that you really loved with your whole being. It didn't happen overnight, so don't expect to feel "nothing" over night, it takes time to heal. Go with it and take all the time you need. Peace and Light Amber Moonstone
