The Sea calls out to me,
It enchants me with its song,
The ever steady roar of the waves
crashing on the shore, and
the lull as they subside.
I long to jump into the serenity of its call to me!
I know I will find peace there,
There is no doubt.
It is very comforting,
This place called the sea.
I shall come to the sea,
To be connected to that part of me
The Me that is of free mind, body and soul.
There is but a second between each moment
That the Sea is Me.
I am the Sea,
All that I can be,
To live as free as I choose to be!
So Sea call to me,
I will come to you and be free!
Author's Notes: I was alone at the beach yesterday afternoon, and was compelled to write this poem, spontaneously it emerged. I do feel very connected with the sea, I find comfort in being one with the Sea!
