My Child, My Son,
You came into this world 27 years ago
On this very special day, your birthday
I want to thank you for every minute
that you have been in my life
I have loved you from the moment you were born
That blonde curly smiley little boy
You had a smile for everyone
Always very cheery and willing to please
When you were a tot,
you loved to drive your Dukes of Hazard cars
all over the long and winding driveway
You burned out so many tires we lost tract.
Then your infamous Masters of Universe World and GI Joe
in the back yard digging all kinds of caverns and buildings
Always coming in dirty from head to toe
You were so adorable!
The hours you and your sister played with play dough
on the back porch
making all kinds of crazy things, especially spagetti people faces.
The best memories were of your star wars adventures
and of course all the Under Roos you had to have.
Remember when you got Jacque, your cabbage patch doll,
That was in Kindergarten.
He went to school more than some of your friends.
That was the year we almost lost you.
But thanks to Dr. Britting you were spared and you were able to bless us with your wonderful personality and love.
Just a few reminders of how much you have meant to me
all these years.
I wish you many more birthdays and happiness with your new wife to be.
I love you, and I will cherish all of the memories that we have shared.
Thank You, Aaron for being my Son!
