"A Cure for My Desire"
Look at me, who do you see?
I am wanting you yet again,
I am but a wanton lover
a slave to your desire
How can I survive without your love
I tell myself I don't need you anymore
My mind agrees, but my body speaks another story
That story of pure lust and wanton pleasures
I seek the cure for my desire
Is it in your arms?
I think not, you are not here now,
I must find another cure for that desire
The cure will come to me I am sure
be it in a dream or vision, or from another
I will surely be cured of that desire I hold for you.
You are not allowed to enter into my desires,
You have chosen another and I am alone with my desires
You are away from me, but you have left me with
unfullfillment,
This is so difficult, I want you so badly,
and I can't have you ever again.
You are bad for me, but it doesn't change
the desire that I still feel for you.
Oh I need a cure for my desire,
I need to extinquish this fire!
Author's Notes: Desire, it is an uncontrollable emotion, it can be a wonderful emotion, but it can also be a burden. I am carrying a burden of desire inside of my body, A desire that is not to be given to that person, he does not deserve me. I must continue to fight this desire, every day of my life, in order to stay healthy and away from him. I am winning the battle, but it is a very difficult one at that.
Always remember, desire/passion is a very precious emotion, choose your object of that emotion very carefully, there is much hurt and unkind and negative people out there.
