True Forgiveness

"True Forgiveness"

True Forgiveness comes to me,
As I sit at my computer and type,
Those words, "I forgive you"
Until that moment that they are expressed,
to the person that you forgive
you haven't healed those wounds.
I needed closure of this kind last night,
and I was able to do this.
Thank you, for accepting that True Forgiveness.
Now my healing will be complete,
I have felt True Forgiveness at last.
It isn't about all the pain and hurt
that one suffers to get to that point
of True Forgiveness,
It is about feeling that True forgiveness
in your heart and mind.
Until that moment, you will not be healed,
so step up and know,
True Forgiveness!
Author's Notes: At last I was able to say those words in type, to the man that has caused me much pain and grief for the past year, I truly forgive you, beautiful man!
Now you go and have much love, happiness, and light again. I am so ready for the same.
I love my life, I will be very happy and peaceful now.
