"The Beat of My Heart"

I am alone again,
No thoughts but my own,
Sitting here listening to my heartbeat,
The steady beat of my life
It is the reflection of the beat of many years
Of pain and suffering and incredible healing,
to get to this moment.
I have lived to the beat of my heart,
following my dreams,
my hopes, and wishes
and my passion for life.
I can only hope that I will remain
as steadfast and as strong as
My heartbeat is at this very moment in time.
One must listen and dance,
the dance of life,
to the rythum of your heartbeat.
It will guide you to unbelievable
feats, and much happiness.
I am a testiment to this,
believe me, I speak my truth.
So I will remain here alone again,
dancing my dance to the rythum of my heartbeat.
Author's Notes: When you come to a point in your life, and you realize that you are the one that makes you happy, and able to do your "dance of life" then you will be living life to the rythum of your heartbeat! Peace, love and dance of life, AmberMoonstone
