Pompei, The Majestic Land

Pompei, the Majestic Land

I have been very fortunate,
to have been able to travel to Europe,
I have had many adventures!
Once I was brave enough
To go to Rome by myself.
It turned out to be the most
enlightening adventure of my Life!
All those Italian men,
chasing me all over Rome, Naples
and that amazing place Pompei.
It was in Pompei that my spirituality
became a reality!
I had a vision, an unbelievable experience.
I was standing in the middle of a ruined
beautiful old house with pillars on both sides of me
The Sun was directly in front of me
Piercing my being with its immense heat
I dropped my belongings and let the sun
Penetrate my face, my shoulders,
and when it reached my soul,
That is when I began to feel
what those people felt when the lava
came rushing down that angry mountain
I could feel the intense heat, the screams
the cries, the panic and pain
It was the most incredible vision I ever have had.
I know what they went through,
I have been blessed with incredible
sight since that day,
I can see things that ordinary people cannot.
Do I call this a blessing,
I am not sure, sometimes the visions I get
are very distressing,
sometimes they are amazingly wonderful!
I must return to Pompei again,
to thank the people for blessing me
with this amazing gift.
I released their spirits that day.
Rest in Peace Pompei,
You are a magnificent place!
Author's Notes: Its funny how life goes in a circle. I am again, planning a trip to Rome, by myself, and will revisit that Magnificent place, Pompei. Pompei is truly awe inspiring, do not miss this place if you are ever near Naples, You will never forget what you saw there.
Peace, love, light and blessings to those people in Pompei.
