Violent Rain

The raindrops beat down on my skylight,
as this day drips into night.
The chaotic raindrops spraying on the window
sounds like explosive bombs that are about to blow!
It is the restlessness of my mind,
trying desperately to find,
answers to those questions inside
where they only want to hide.
The questions are the drops of my mind,
searching for those answers of some kind.
As the rain becomes more violent,
I begin to remember your intent.
Your intentions were to harm
and to put a test to your charm.
You sprayed me with false insinuations,
only to drown me in adulations.
I fell, deep into your pool,
Yes, My dear I was the fool.
I was so trusting and so caring,
You were consistent with your daring.
I wonder, now, where you are,
I know that you are not very far.
I feel you all the time,
Your violent rain does not blind.
Oh how happy I am to not be drowning
for a fool I was once, and never not clowning.
I look at that rain spraying on the pane,
and I am grateful there is no stain.
Author's Notes: It is violently raining, and it brought this from inside of my mind. It is very theraputic to share this tonight, for I am embarking on a new phase of my life. I am grateful that this old love did not leave me with any scars. To healing of mind, body, and soul. It is so the way to always go.
