Balancing Independence with Intimacy,
Now that's a challenge!
Sometimes your partner looks at
your vie for independence
as a signal that you want to leave,
or be separated.
In actuallity, being independent
from them, is very healthy!
I struggle with this all the time.
I want to be Independent,
he wants some type of dependency.
To depend on another is not being needy,
it is being honest and strong.
When you feel you can't depend on that person,
that is when problems arise.
Independence in a relationship
is vital to the health of each party.
Maintaining independence is a constant
path filled with many decisions and
sometimes many struggles.
At the moment, I feel pretty independent
with the knowledge that I can depend
on my partner when that need is there.
This Libra full Moon, shall show me
more ways to be independent
along with being intimate.
It's all about balance,
balancing my independence
and our intimacy!
I shall always strive to
create harmony, rather
than conflict!
Author's Notes: Balance, I always speak of balance. It is the basis for all things, all situations. When you have balance you are whole.
I will strive for balance in regards to independence and intimacy. Libra full Moon, shall light the way!
