Letting Go Of Hidden Fears

Age Group: Adult
Travel through your mind
open up your thoughts
allow yourself to see
and to begin to find.
Find that inner place
that is protected from the world
only you can unlock that door
that can trace
The hidden fears
and the darkness
that lives inside
of all of those tears.
The tears keep erupting
only to fill you with
profound realizations that are
conflicting and disrupting.
When there is a place so deep
you protect yourself
and guard your soul
and always try to keep
Your true purpose and light
as pure and honest
as you can possibly be
by never giving up that fight.
Author's Notes: Sometimes when you discover those hidden fears, it is the most enlightening moment of your life. To recognize them, to acknowledge them and of course to then let them go, is the beginning of moving forward and healing.
