How dare I compare you,
to that of another man,
How can I dare you
to become that other man.
How can I swear to you
that I will always love you dearly,
How canst I bear to be
without your loving plea.
How many nights I long for you
How many days I belong to you,
How many weeks I wait for you
How many years I will need you.
How can a love sustain this time
How can my heart still love you
How can you continue to deny
How we truly feel inside.
How many tears have been shed
How many wounds have been bled
How many lives have to be
hurt and torn for you to see,
that there is no other love like you and me!
Author's Notes: A deep emotion just emerged, and knowing this now, shall ever burn in my heart. I still love a man that shouldnt be thought of . Keep peace, and continue to walk this earth with lightness and love.
