A Poet's Prayer

Age Group: Adult
Brigid, lady of hearts,
And the Mother of arts.
Guide my hand,
Help my words stand.
Man was first inspired
To build his first fire.
So too must i be,
To write great poetry.
Brigid, lady of thought,
An idea is what i haven't got.
Aid me when I'm writing,
So i may write something.
Author's Notes: Brigid is one of my favorite deities, along side the Morrigan and Cernunnos, so i figured i'd pay a tribute to her, since she's given me such great ideas.
