Nature's Guardians

Age Group: Adult
Fluttering in and out of sight
Are graceful fairies in flight
Coming out during the day
And the moonlit, starry night
In greens, blues, and reds,
They flash and dart, never in bed
Constantly moving and dancing
Because they would rather have fun instead
Carrying wands of gold and silver
They bless the flowers that shiver
With their passage on the wind
And the dewdrops they always deliver
Each flower and leaf they bless
With love and a gentle caress
Is protected and nourished
By the best and no more or less
Love, not hate, reigns supreme
In their groves' and gardens' extreme
Borders, walls of stone and wood,
And clear running streams
Fairies don't get angry or hate
They love to help and don't care if they wait
For all eternity to aid someone
Because kindness never comes to late
