I am Me, Just let Me Be!!!!

I am me,
so jus' let me be,
I may have more weight than
you, but, that don't make me
a bad person too....
Why don't you take
one good look at yo'self,
Are you perfect, are you thin?
can you fit on a shelf?
I can't stand when people
go and have a fit,
about something that 's
not their worry, ya know
not "their sh*t"...
why do people have to
go out of their way,
tryin' to berate me
like everyday?
Here I am, I 'm
doin' my best,
I am workin' it out
just keepin' abreast..
I am eatin' the "good
foods" and I am runnin'
around, I have a brain
and I'm perfectly "sound"!
If you don't like me, I don't
care, I am who I am,
don't have a spare!
Deal with it, it's not
my prob', you're the one
that's tryin' so hard
to rob...
all of my
dignity and
make me sob...
but, it's not
gonna change,
won't rearrange
the things that I do,
it's not about YOU...
Cuz' I am me,
so jus' let
me be, I like this
person, the way she's
become, she's me the one
that I know , still.....
havin' FUN!

This is in dedication to all of the young women and women and men as well....for all of us.. that have to deal with "weight issues"..and deplore it....Here's to a good life, much love, much , much support!
and not being harsh or judgemental about it!
