DOG

Dog
He is gentle, he loves to cuddle,
He will never whine!
He is soft, and he is furry,
He likes licking, all the time!
He loves walks, and to run,
On the beach, he’s at home.
He likes to bark, when he’s
Happy, and he often likes to
Roam!
His tail wags, at all times,
And he really likes his bath!
He often likes to follow, but,
At times, walks his own
Path!
He’s a friend to the end,
No matter who you are,
He’s a wonderful retriever,
He finds things that’re
Thrown too far!
He’s amazingly receptive
When you’re feeling rather
Down, He’ll put his paws up
On you, and he’ll try to stop
Your frowns!
He’s a great one to get you
Laughing, because of his
“Little ways, ”
He can stand very intensely,
And or sometimes in
A “daze”!
Not a day goes by, when
I don’t miss him,
He’s a very special friend.
He is always there to greet me,
When my day comes to an end!
I’m so lucky to have found him,
He’s so lucky to have me,
We’re both so lucky together,
Oh, so lucky, are we indeed!

My hubby and I were talking about dogs the other day..as we one day hope to get one....and one of the dogs that he mentioned to me, was the Jack Russell...supposedly they are the ONLY dog that is highly known to be accepted ANYWHERE it goes, at any hotel etc.....something due to their history!
But, I like both cats and dogs, so, I hope that we get a mutt or whatever to give a lot of love to!
This poem is for people that either have a dog, know some dogs, or what-have -you!
and to ALL dogs that I have known in my past, that I have known and loved, tremendously!
