The Merry-Go Round Spirit Children

The Merry-Go Round is going,
and we are playing year round...
sometimes people see us,
as we tumble onto the ground.
They think that we are lost,
lost , lonely and frightened,
they don't even realize, that,
we've already come "in".
We've been in our "new"
life, since 1942, we play
beneath the carousel,
that's what we love to do!
Penny is six, and I am seven,
both of us were "bound" for heaven,
but, we changed our minds,
ran out of time, and stayed
here for eleven!
So here we are, two
happy spirits, happy and
serene! We'll stay here now,
and forever more, as spirits
"inbetween".
So if you see two small kids,
at the Merry-Go-Round,
We're not lost, lonely or sad,
we stay and play all year round,
it's something that makes us
GLAD!

There is a true ghost story about two young kids that are living near or under a Merry-go Round and people, usually children spot these particular spirits playing under the merry- go- round, and often go off to report it, but by the time they get back, the place is empty.
The general thought is that these children were playing tag near the Merry-Go-Round, and were accidently killed there.
My poem is about these kids...although I changed some of the facts and story, but, it's pretty close. ( I didn't have the info in front of me) .
Latest update: Poem is based on story from Chapter in Leslie Rule's book , " True Stories of Spirit Encounters Ghosts Among Us", Chapter "Haunted Amusement Parks".
The "real" story is that these two young children are often spotted running around in the middle of the Merry-Go-Round, playing a really dangerous game of tag, in, around and underneath the Merry -go -round. There is a boy and a girl, they are dressed as though it were the 1920's. Some children from our times have seen them, and it has made them frightened, because the spirit children were doing things recklessly...and the children spirits have told the children here in this life, that they are "stuck" here in this time. They also ask the children of this time to play with them, but, most of the kids in our time, now, have been too frightened of the way that these two children play...and want nothing to do with them.The spirit boy looks as though he is about ten years old, and the girl about , eight years of age. (They are seen as they were way back then..the boys wears knickers, and the girl wears a dress.)
The Merry-go-round is the Jantzen Beach Mall , in Portland Oregon.
