Please Hold on.!!!.....

Just hold me tight....don't leave me...alone.
I am trying to fight this uphill battle, of either
just being here, and or keeping up a brave
front.......
Life has a slight grip on me....if I can just hold
on a little while longer...maybe I can make it
with the rest of the guys.
Please, say you'll stay with me, right by my
side, , , I won't always admit it, but, I am scared!
I have never endured these type of feelings
before....I just want so badly to hold out, not just
for my life, but, for everybody around me...I still
want to be in this "game.".
...Keep me close, ..
don't let me bleed out...I STILL need strength to
keep my head, and to hold it high! I still need to
see that everyone is accounted for....that we
made it, despite the hardships, the road bombs,
the scatterings of groups of people, here and there,
the dust rising....
Please, hold on, I know that I'm not a light
weight, but, surely you can keep a good
enough grip on me...just so's I can
maybe get up, despite the horrific pain, I
am enduring....
Please, let me get thru with all of you...
I want to be able to say "I made it too!"
Hold on.....please, take care of me....
come back for me, and hold me..as the
comrade that you know, that is NEVER
gonna give up nor give in......
just keep holdin' on....
I AM STILL HERE, KIckin' and very
much alive....somehow!

Thinkin' of the war and the men and women out there, doing what they do, every day and night...and just ":bein' there" for their comrades...fellow soldiers.
I have heard a lot of true stories of people helping others, and I know, that this is a never ending story.....even as far back as World War II and further back!
There are some great stories about soldiers saving lives....
You are just doing what you are supposed to be doing...yet, to me, and to so many who think about you , all of the time...you are our heroes....and thank you, thank you, thank you.!!!!...for being the persons that you are!!!!!!
P.S. www.soldiercenter.com is a place to write to others and or support soldiers as well as www.military.com, and www.keystonesoldiers.com and if I have any more sites, I will post them! Here to Support the Troops! We care about ALL of YOU!!!! Hope you come home soon!
