Me and the Sandman...

Sandman:"Hello! Turn off your main light, it's nightie night time...ya know when you go to sleep?"
Me: "Whaaa'!!! WHo the heck are you? How did you get in my bedroom?!!"
Sandman":Look, lie down, nobody is gonna get hurt..I just have to do my job...so will you lie your body down, now?!"
Me: "But, what if I do NOT want to go nightie-nite!?"
Sandman:"Trust me, you will!"
ME:"Ya know, technically I should call the police and get you for breaking and entering!! This is really a crime!"
Sandman:"Ohhhh, you wouldn't do that to lil' ol' me, now would you? I have been putting people to sleep for millions of years!! This is my job!"
Me:"Well, I honestly don't care, but, you are NOT gonna put me out like a light...no thank you!"
Sandman:"You know, I have NEVER in my life been so insulted or hurt...most people are glad to see me....how come you aren't?"
Me: "Cuz' I am a nightowl"
Sandman:"uhh, err No, you are more like a "nightfoul"!!! LOL!
I found out that you were droopy the whole day, and not to mention with your diabetes as well....incidently, you ate a bit too many carbs the other night!! Honey, no, can dooooo!"
Me:"Say, I thought that you only put us to bed, and then left and went home (mumbling, whereever that is!!!")
Sandman:"Well, I stick around to make sure that the magick takes effect immediately!, oh, and safely too!"
ME:"well, please stop hanging out...because I WILL sleep, but just not on YOUR terms!!!"
Sandman:"oh, , , you can try to avoid me, but, sooner or later you will be beggin', and I do Mean BEGGIN" to have me over to "help you get better sleep!"
and with that , the sandman, picked up his white hat, and "Rico Suave'-slinked" outta my bedroom....with a small phrase "See ya my darlin'! "and he blew me a kiss!
Me:"We'll see about that...but, I really doubt it!!!"

I am a nightowl.! LOL! But, lately with getting the diabetes, you can just forget that...I get tired!!! Boy do I ever!...On top of that I also deal with mild lupus and fibromyalgia...and that tires me out, whether I like it or not....it makes me mad..because when I need to sleep and want to sleep, I can't, and when I am not tired, but, it is the hour to go "nighty-night" late at night...forget it! I just can't!!! URRRGHH!
