The Boys in You and the Men in You!

Age Group: Adult
To me, sometimes, I see
"Little boys" still, even if you
are taller than I.
I can see, the boy in you,
that stands above me,
with the bayonet..and the
heavy winter coat..
guarding the tomb
of the unknown
soldiers...
You are grown, and
you are yes, adults,
in your own rights, , ., but,
you are still the boy, inside
that has now learned, that
this ain't no game,
nor is it "time in the
sandbox"!
You have now seen
that "others" can't
or won't "share"...
that they can be
fickle too, yet
adamant...and
resilient in their
pursuits...and they
don't give in that
easily....Is this
how they grew up?
Is this how they
played as boys, so
long ago, before now?!
Sometimes I really wonder
just who, "they" were, before
they "Changed", and just
who you were , before you
made a difference in people's
lives.......
And just so you know, , ,
you have, and you will,
again and again, and again,
and again, and again!!!
Because even if you still
have that boyish heart,
you also have that
grown up muster.....
and you have shown
so many of us, through
out time, that you
can do, what you set out
to do!

I hope you understand what I am saying here...I am NOT trying to put any guy down , but, rather, lift them up!
I see so many great things...from all of the men that I have read about even farther back then World War II...but, I see a boy in you, and the strength, and wisdom, and the power, and the humanity, and the drive to keep pushing to make it...and this is not just a poem about being a boy and becoming a man..and change....it is also about you all being so human...and the pride that you take with your humaness....You are very terrific human beings..that did what you could ...I am in awe of the things that you did...and yeah, I worry, about you all as well...I am scared for you...maybe I do not know you, maybe I will never meet you...but, I am scared for you..and I care....just because I am a human being...and this makes me a sensitive person...regarding war, and you being you, and just going out and doing the things that you all do!
Your families, and friends, really miss you, sooo much, I just cannot state this enough, and I we are all here, rooting for ALL of YOU!!!! It doesn't matter what religion, or background ...or race that you are, ! We KNOW that we care about you....VERY , VERY MUCH!!!!
So, I just wanted to let you know, that just thinking about people being out there, has made an extrra sensitive feeling person outta me....I just could not restrain myself..and I had to let you know this!
Your children will be extrra proud of you all, and more!!
