To : Ralph, and Others Like Him!

To you I may be in a denial
about how much sugar
I can gorge on in style!
But, I know I have an
illness,
and for you to "shout"
at me, is none yo'
business!
You may believe
in God, that he'll
save ya,
but, if that's true,
then why do you
rage, huh?!!
You had on your
profile, that you
have nothing to
fear, but, I gotta
tell you, that's
bull-sh*t, do U
hear?!
You are afraid
of just living
at all, afraid you
might take a
risk then you'de
fall!
I cannot live with
a cross to bear!
That will drive me
nuts, everywhere!
NO, I gotta stand,
and be who I am,
try new foods out,
even the ice creams,
or "green eggs and
ham!"
But, I have to tell you,
that even with a
small bit of faith,
I can eat what I want
and not have to
"wait"!
YOu , on the other
hand, will never
bow down,
and eat what thrills
you, because on it
you frown!
I don't agree, as you
can sure tell,
but, that's my
perogative,
I am not here to
sell...
you into going
towards eating other
items...you eat what
you eat, and I
I'll do as well!

There is this one man on one of the diabetic boards that I write on...and he chewed me out for being "in denial" all because I asked about diabetic sugar-free stuff mainly ice creams! I got mad, and told him off! There is NO reason why any diabetic cannot have sugar-free ice creams and other "desserts". Good Grief!
I don't like being told what to do!
I also really do not appreciate it when "somebody" decides to tell me that I am stupid, or in denial, and I need to get it thru my thick brain that I have a deadly disease! HAH! I already know this, hellloooooo!!!
SO mind your OWN business!
I KnOw WhAt I Am DoInG!!!!!
Please don't put others thru what you did to me!
But, to all of the other helpful diabetics that contacted me...thanks for your worldly advice, I DO appreciate it!
