Thin Veil

Thin veil comes when the dark is dark, and
the spirits walk the walk......
Thin veil is when the night is chilly, and the children
run knocking on doors and greeting with
silly grins and laughter.....
Thin veil is when the October winds blow, and the leaves
are falling, and the ground is full of multi-colored hues...
Thin veil, is when the soldiers from the past walk
this earth, they still wear their uniforms, and carry
their rifles, and canteens and they walk thru the
mists of the night.......
Thin veil is when the ones that have all passed,
this year and years past, come to a fork in the roads
to meet and greet the people on the horizon,
ones still alive, and ones that are leaving earth....
Thin veil, comes to the day that is but just once a year,
if you have a chance, reach out, before the veil closes,
just so that you may have that chance to see them
from the other side.......
Thin veil is Halloween Night......chance the chance, and
dance your dance..and feast the feasts on this night!
