If they build, You will leave! (tear drops) !

To my medium sized buddy, the grey woodchuck,
across the street:
I hope that they don't sell the land,
where you gather your grasses, and dig for
your food.I hope that they sell the land that
you live on to another farmer that
works the land as the other did for years and
years.....cuz' I never want to see you have to
live somewhere else!!!!
I love being able to wake up and look at you
while you are eating and slowly making
your way thru the high grasses to find all
of your foods....I like watching you thru
my binoculars, and seeing you stand up
on your little stubby but stout little
legs!
I hate it when people sell good land, and
then they build over the beauty that should
have been left alone! If builders build on it,
I and so many others won't have that
chance to enjoy the other animals on that land, i.e.
the foxes, and the deer, the grey squirrels and
other little creatures hunting in that area!
I hope they save you, and all of the animals,
over there in that great green meadow! I enjoy
seeing you out there, and watching the geese
enjoying the grasses too! I don't want to
see townhouses being built on "your" land..
because where is the beauty in that?!!!! Why can't
people just rennovate old buildings instead
of building from ground up and wrecking everything
on our earth?!!!!
If we build, You all will leave.....it's not like in the movies!!!

This is really bothering me, alot...as I really love seeing this critter out in front along with the beautiful red deer here, and the birds, and the geese! I don't want them to sell this land to a land developer..but, I have no clout, as I am not a "Citizen" of Maryland (boo hoo!) and I think that they sold it, but, haven't decided what to DO with the land as of yet! They have already been building on the other side of this area....lots and lots of townhouses, similar to where I live! It's Really, UGLY!!! It was soooo much better before!!!!
I have also heard that there are bears here, and mt, lions! (haven't seen them yet...but, there was a shot the other day...think somebody was hunting out there!)
P.S.I grew up in California, and lived there most of my life...so I hadn't lived among these other critters unless I have traveled (which I have, to about thirty states in the U.S. give or take a few) But, I grew up with raccoons, possums skunks, loud bluejays, small red robins, some woodpeckers, and other birds, some hawks, a few geese (later in life) and also grew deer and brown squirrels in California!
I love the red deer, fireflies, woodchucks, grew squirrels, huge red robins , Cardinals and much more! etc...back east here! lol! Very happy!
