Every Party
by Absentia

Every Party has a dark corner,
somewhere you can get away from it all,
drown your sorrows with that last drop of liquid fire,
sweet excstacy fogging your senses.
Every party has a dark corner,
nuzzle up to your love,
not only of love but of fear,
to have that someone you know stay close,
so you don't feel so alone,
Every party has a dark corner,
to scream as loud as you can,
never being heard ove the pounding rhythmn,
Every party has a dark corner,
to sit and watch your life pass you by.
