All Gone!

All Gone! said the toddler..
All gone! he said and smiled
He had on a huge grin, , as he walked
For a while…
He walked on by,
Without blinking an eye,
And then he suddenly
began to cry….
Why?….Well….
He had eaten at night,
The jack o’ lantern’s
Orange light, and so
Everybody waited, and
Hysterically anticipated,
The arrival of the part
That would plop out
On the mark…and when
It came out, there were
Sighs, and some shouts…
but,
Now they are all
More aware, of things
Everywhere, , , and they don’t
Leave them about, while
Their youngster’s about!

This is also based on a true story!
When my hubby was a little boy, he swallowed the Jack O' Lanterns lightbulb! That is what he told his mom..."All Gone!"
He was okay, but, they had to wait, till it came out! LOL!
