Thinking Of You!

I will just love you
And think of you
As you move on…
I will write you letters,
That remind you,
That I haven’t gone.
I will send you kisses,
And poetry from my heart
Something to make you
Chuckle, and give
You a run from the
Start!
I will send sweet
Fragrant scents to
Waft up to your nose
That you may sit and read
And your cheeks will
Burn with glow.
I will often picture
Your youthful happy
Smile, and I will
Sit and dream
And think of you
All the while!
Where ever you may
Go, and what ever you
Will do, just you remember
This, that I am always
Right with you!

I started thinking about the 1940's and just letters that women would send their sweet hearts when their "fellas" were off at war..and that is what made me want to get this poem down, quickly!
I think that the 1940's in a lot of ways were rather romantic!! What can I say? Maybe I had another lifetime then? Who knows!!!?!
