You are my friend…..

I just wanted for you to know…
I value you as my caring friend, where
Ever you are , whatever you do, however
You feel now and or then..
I think about you, and hope that you,
Are doing okay,
& aren’t sad, or blue,
…and if you might need
A shoulder online, I can be that too!
You are my friend….
If you should feel lost, or out of sorts
And need a wall to lean on, just
Remember I am here, and I will not go,
“Phase out” or even, be "gone!"
I hope that you will find your way,
Thru all of the hard times ahead…
And when that time comes, I’ll reach
Out to you, and remove all feelings
Of dread.
You are my friend,
Thru the thick and the thin
And even the best and worst times,
We can always just talk, and share
As we walk, and give back what we can
Via our minds!
So just be as you are, don’t change
You at all…be proud, be cool, be tall!
You’re a friend to the end…and a great
One at that…why my times with you,
are a ball!

There is one particular person whom I was thinking about when I wrote this poem...it is a new friend that I have gotten to know..and is much like a mentor to me...but, I would also like to include some other new friends of mine as well....I think very highly of them all! They are "good people"..and I am very blessed to still be getting to know them...and very glad that they have come into my life!
Thank you for being the friends that you are.............I really like you all, you are such terrific human beings!!!
