Hey Again!

Need I say, that I ‘ve missed
You? Do I say, that my life
Is sort of silent, without you?
Do you really want for me to
Add that I Can make it without
You, but, I would much rather
NOT?
If you don’t know , just how
Much you cheered me up, and
Made me see things in a better
Light, than, I just don’t know
What else to add….
What about “I miss your
Letters” do you not understand?
Have I missed the boat somewhere,
Did the gondola man, leave with
Out me?!!!
Have you decided to take the
Long way home?
Did you take the three wise men
For a drive in the hills?
Where are you now? Can I
Admit to the stars that I wish
That you were still around?
I can be blunt, and tell it like
It is, or beat around the bush,
Which would you prefer?
If you were standing there, right
In front of me, I would …
Oh, more than likely, look
Like I am soooo surprised
That you are there, …and think
Inside of my head, “WOW! I
Guess, words do impact another!
You really did listen! You really
Took the actual time to sit and
“think” about what I wanted,
finally for a change! "Not that
you never have..or never did,
or never will….but, I would
be really astounded…if you were
really with me, now! But, since
you aren’t, and I find myself,
having a good time here, just
using my wild imagination
thinking thoughts of you…..
my only wonder still is…
Hey Again! DO you ever think
About me? Do you ever think
About US? DO you ever want
To come back, and just be?…
The way that it used to be?…
Between us….as just two
“Good people”, hangin’ on each
Other’s every word…and
Philosophically speaking…
helping each other out…
Here and there, like old times
Like the friends we used to be?
