I Admire...

I admire...those who:
Stand up against all odds,
and people who don't believe as
"others" do...
I admire those who walked long distances,
and perservered no matter their troubles,
along their paths..
I admire the changes people were forced to make
even when they were not ready to do so,
and kept on with life, and then some.
I admire the diversity, the strengths from marchers
who sat in unwanted places...and gave their time to
fight for equal rights, even if it tore them apart..
I admire those who went to war..and stood by their
fellow Americans....and never gave up, and sacrificed so much
for all of us...so we could live.
I admire, those that used what they could, to get by,
even when they struggled, on their own, those who could
not see or hear...they never let on....
I admire the courage of those who held their tongues, as
the opposition stood nearby, with threatening glances..and
hidious attitudes about them
I admire the wisdom of children...and all that they think, and
what they imagine, they have a lot to share with us!
I admire the writers, the poets, the dreamers in this world...
for without them, where would we all be?!?....
they make it bearable for us to laugh, smile and enjoy
our lives!!
