Not a poem, just thoughts on my life now...

I really like the people out here where I live now!
People are NOT rude (well a lot of the time they aren't anyhow!) as in where I grew up..and I guess that I have changed for the better too! I don't like the way that people in Northern California are...I may have written about this before...but, since I have moved away from what my hubby loves to call ""The People's Republic of Berkeley"LOL!, I can now understand the "thinking" that goes on there..it took me a bit to see it! I had gone thru that wonderful thing called "Culture Shock" and yeah, it hit me quite hard!
No wonder people are so mean and rude out there!! (not all, mind you, but, many, many of them are!! They demand respect from you, even if you are sitting on a bus! They scream at you if you even look at them any kind of way!! (They don't do that here!! Thank the Lord!!!) (and I need to point out, that I STILL love where I was raised, don't get me wrong here..but, I just don't appreciate that opression and other mumbo jumbo there! Alot of the stuff that I grew up "believing" is just a huge hoax!
I think that I like what I have here...because it is more old fashioned here..people honestly care a LOT more than they do in Berkeley!
IN Berkleley, they yell at you, bug you to pieces for money nearly everyday!
They scream obscenities at you...they treat you worse that dog Sh**..and here , they don't act that pathetic!! They are really warm once you get to know them...
In Berkeley, they can either Bitch at you, or be okay...but, somewhere down the line, you have to pay for just saying hello or giving somebody a kind or nice word...
Like "have a nice day!" is reinterpreted as "Don't tell me to have a nice day! I'll have a bad day, , , , because it is MY day!!!"]Good grief!!!
Give me a bleeping break!!
People are sooo ruuuuude there! I needed to get OUT of there and fassssst!!! No wonder I was so depressed and blue before I moved out of the state!!! Thank goodness I got out of that space!!!
You cannot get away from pan handlers.. (they are around nearly every corner...lurking in the darkness, and waiting to "Bother you" for a handout..and if you don't give them a BIT more..they can get angry or enraged and try to "beat you up!"
They also try their dam**est to try to make you cringe or feel EXtremely guilty for NOT handing over some cash or food, or whatever...like it's all YOUR fault!! (I don't think so!!!!)
I still cannot believe how great the people are out here..and yes, while it did take a bit to reach out and get to know people (because they were a smidge stand-offish here...I really don't mind...because for the most part they are truly kind and caring people that I keep getting to know..and I really love it here! LOL!
Can you all tell!? LOL! Grins!!
I am sure there are other states that have warm , caring and thoughtful people where they live too!!
I just wish some more of this will reach around the world...ya know?
We sure could use some MORE!!!
