Hello! What were YOU thinkin'?!!!!

Hello! What were YOU thinkin'!?
I am NOT a "masterpiece" on the walls
in an art museum!
Why am I sitting here,
on a cold cement floor,
chained up to the walls?
I could have been free,
I could have played
I could have run,
I could have been fed!
But, you didn't feed me,
nor did you allow it.
No, you didn't help me at all
and, right before your eyes,
I died!
Hello, where are YOUR brains?
Where did you leave them?
Here I am, with no water bowl,
no food bowl, and I just sit and sit
and people gawk at me..and think
"What a weak looking sick dog!"
I could have been helped!
I could have been removed!
I could have been adopted!
I could have been loved!
* * * * * * * * * * * *
Where did you go, because
I didn't know!
Where were you when the
heat rose in the barn, and I was in
a cage too small for me?
Just think, I could have
had a better life than THIS!
I could have been transferred
to a place where I could roam
or be taken care of!
I don't know why things like this
are happening to me!
I don't understand why?
Can somebody explain why,
because I don't understand!

There are soo many animals
that are taken and put in cages
and or not taken care of
properly..and some make it,
and some do not!
I just really wanted to share
because I just saw a lot of animals
bears and tigers in too small
cages being kept in a barn!
and a humid one at that!!
I also saw a dog, displayed as an
art object! The dog died soon
after the art exhibit!
They didn't feed him, nor
give him water at all!
They are allowing the "artist"
to do this art exhibit again!
People, Dogs and other animals,
need to have love and freedom
and care!!
but, NOT the type of care
that we all KNOW is still
going on around us!!

I just don't want to have to see animals that have to go thru such cruel situations!
It's not fair..and it's not right!!
They deserve the love and a life!!
