Home Versus Here.....
I don't wanna deal with the way that you are
always being a certain way..always acting like you care
but, you never really do...all one sided.., faking it all the way
you were never really there for me...like I used to think.
Home Versus Here....
I don't wanna deal with how you show others your side
how you act with everybody, how you seem but, really aren't.
You proved to me...that it is only one way to see a place..
not until I left, did I have any ideas of how real people can be..

I had to learn by leaving...and only then, did I see that I
was perceiving better ways, the giving people, the kindnesses
the reality of it all.People are so much nicer here, then where I
grew up...you, need to learn how to treat others with RESPECT..

I kind of doubt that you will learn how to treat people
with the type of respect that they so deserve, I don't think
that you would be the type of city to help others out..
no, you are just there to help yourselves!
at least, from my point of view, that is what I see!

I have thought differently since moving to the D.C. area...I have changed the way that I see things, regarding where I grew up, ....I now can't stand the ways that my hometown is...I don't hate Berkeley , California, but, I don't like the way that people are there, ...it's self serving and all people think over there is "me, me, me!" God, I hate that!
Here, where I live..it's so nice..and people are NOT selfish..not in the slightest! They have a great mentality here! It's more old fashioned..but, I guess I just really like it better!! Hope it doesn't change!!
I just don't like the "me" attitude where I grew up...I like parts of Berkeley, but, I am tired of" the same old, same old."..I KNEW that I needed to get away!! I just knew it!!
