of boys and girls

Age Group: Teen
On this lazy day in the district,
the loud laughter of the boys,
clash with the soft smart smile of the girls.
The maturity levels of the boys and girls,
so subtle, so obvious, so sticking.
A line is drawn in the gray skies,
The battle of the Sexes has begun,
and what tommorow would bring,
lies hidden, in a Tommorow,
that would surely come.

Author's Notes: my father wrote this poem a few years back while sitting in class and I just found it an dwanted to post it. i hope you do injoy the image of loud boys and cunning girls as much as I have for years. Enjoy, and Blessed Be.
