My Real Thoughts...

My real thoughts betray me,
Alas, I am the same..
I tried to ignore them, but
it was only like a game.
They rise up, like the dead
whenever I have to see
the truth and reality of
me, just being me!
My soul is alarmed, and
I wish that I could run
away from these feelings,
because it is NOT fun.
But, I'll have to face mine
as everybody knows..
for that is how I learn
to live and to grow!

This poem is about how I am so frustrated with myself...that I want to be "Perfect" and Not do "stupid stuff"..but, I cannot fix "everything" all of the time...I can pick out things to work on...but, I just cannot "Fix" everything, at the same time! Perfection is always, always a huge mountain looming ahead of me...or just out of sight!!
Plus, this poem is also based on feelings that I have been having lately...about how I honestly feel about some facts about me! GOD! The truth hurts... (sometimes) LOL!!
