For All The Stevie's In The World...

For all the Stevie's in the world
that give and give, their hearts full of Gold.
We love you, and we want you to know..
that you are incredible , Way to go!
For those who try their very best
in the Special Olympics , thru all the tests
your courage and determination
makes us inspired, thru out this nation.
We think you're great, or don't ya know?
You never give up even if you're "slow!"
You persevere and go, go, go!
You are amazing, that's fo' sho'!
Those that balk and do not care..
let them watch, let them stare!
You always come thru and you do it right,
you never quit without a fight!
So, keep on rockin' and do what you do!
Keep on livin' and just bein' you!
Don't settle for "nothin'" at all,
Be who YOU are, and yeah, stand tall!!

This was inspired by a story that I was sent about a guy named Stevie (and it might be one of those "urban stories" that you get in the emails..but, technically, it's true because there are people everywhere that inspire me who have also been in the Special Olympics!!) This is for those who never quit, never give in or give up..and they keep right on goin' because that is who they are!!
I think that those people are really terrific souls..and I am so glad that I have met and personally known some of these people..they make me smile!!)
They rock!!!
