And You Turn Away

In solitude my solar body stands beneath
Moist darkness consuming. You lay within, soft breasts dusted with
Silent mourning of the passed against radiant butterflies hidden within
Unyielding oaks, and you turn away.
Oh elixir of life! Together the fruits of life remain,
Mingling within ourselves the mortal flames smothered by darkness.
Plunging into that chasm butterflies cover the sky in dusty wings
And you turn away.
The jewel of the sea mingles within black velvet,
Oh! Reflect fires of gilded threads, bringing
success of the ruined day. Of your earthly soul I sing and
mark the fragile atlas with moist kisses.
From the boughs of nocturne a light springs forth
From the depths of earth, and it is sad and dark, drunk with the
Seeds of pine; Cloudless rains bring a deeper night
And you turn away.
Butterflies ravage the summer skies for stars
And my soul cries when I love you.
Above, the butterfly floats within my solar body
Moist darkness consuming and
Fiery fruits falling onto the dark emerald garment
Where the creation lies, crawling from the mournful urn,
Resting within the energy of spirits below.
