I gotta let you go...
It's not gonna help
for me to stay in this
anymore..
You are toxic
and I wonder
what is really
going on, as I
close this door!
Who you pretend
to be, to everybody
else around you
why you act like
you are in denial..
when we hang out
I feel it's "vile!"
Sorry, but, not
sorry at all..
gotta do what I
gotta, and get on
the ball....
You live your life
far from mine..
I'll move on
we'll drift in time..
No offense..but,
I just can't stay..
My life starts a fresh
I like it that way!

This is about a former friend from high school, who I recently got a "friend request" on a blog site..I had to think back if I told her to stop contacting me.. (which I believe I did) ..It's painful and hard to tell a person this..but, I really felt that I had to do it!!)
I just don't want to be in a toxic friendship any more..it's painful..and it still hurts.. (this has happened to me enough times that I would prefer to Not get sucked into that warp ever again!!)
I hope that she really gives it some thought, and moves on with her life...that is what I am doing!!
