Eyes of the Soul

Age Group: Adult
Standing there above the stain of pain that darkens the earth.
A single tear rolls down her cheek to splash upon the ground.
Of lost dreams and broken hearts that dots the land around.
This poor girls suffering spreads far and wide through the desert of pain and misery.
This wasteland of hatred consumes her soul pulling her in deeper and deeper.
Pages of her mind flutter around unbound from years of turmoil.
Her mind is scattered across the land lost to the wind of the mad.
Seen by one, she sees another, a place that’s cold and white.
Bound to the center, the worlds close together, her mind lost between.
She sees the truth, she sees the hate.
But which is reality and which is insanity.
She cannot tell you that.
