Alone

by Nighttingale
 Age Group: Adult

Alone in the world is how she is. Alone in the world is how she lives. In a room cold and dark, separated from the heart. Locked away in pain and hate, lost in a pool of tears from rage. Cold is her world, lost is her sole, turned away from friends and home. Lost in this new place, different and strange. No one thinks of this girl, pain and rage sown up in her. So in this room she locks her self. In this room she stays and waits for her sole to come back whole for ripped her heart was torn from her from ones she once thought friends cast aside like an old used rag. They thought she cared for no one else. Thought to have no sole to love, locked in the room crying tears of pain. Lost in the room dark with age. Crying for love. Wanting to be heard. Screaming till hoarse to be heard. Screams for help lost in her world. No one hears her cries for love wanting to be held by one. Close to heart and warmed by sole. Yet no one will love this child’s sole. Alone she’ll stay in this world. Alone she’ll stay dark and cold. No sole to hold, not even her own. Gone are the days of sun and love. Gone are the days of warmth and hugs. Lost to hatred, pain, and death. Her world is thrown to hell and back. Wanting peace to have at last, she holds the pass to give her that silent, loving peace at last. Holding dagger close to heart, she thinks of warm and happy thoughts, looking at it one last time, she thinks back to good times. Thinking back to a time she loved, thinking of a guy she wants. She thought he loved her the same way, his heart she wanted his warm embrace. Love was all this child wanted. Pain was all she got. No was his answer to her, heartily and truthful too. So ripped he tore her heart in two, filling her with pain and ache. This child’s heart he killed with hate, wanting just a little love she quickly passed the dagger through, splitting her heart in two. Lying there warm still, peace is what she had at last and just a little love with that.
