Thyme Enfold Herbal Medicine Salt Air

Green to Eat
Strong & Pungent
Not too Sweet
Lavender blossoms
Hidden Deep
Inside thick grey deciduous hydes
a thistle betwixt wide hips
Old keeping the wick a cool head
Medicine sleeping for strength until sap rising
Needles entyne lightening to the soft summer
of lapping sulpha rain in salt waves
Me and mine from me by the beach
In the candle-light when my
daughter asks me
How can our dance be a
shadow that life follows inside out?
When you are old I will say
there on that day I was your youth
and you were my birthday holding the shadows
for play. With bated breath thymes' sullen thunder cloud
dared, a think aloud. This is a story to begin a gin
with a hearty crash and bang as our hearts pound their lost flesh reach in their bone cage harmony.
The rain slapping the sand a sound loss &
silence to guarantee separate softness each
for merry Faeri round the sodden plum beach tree.
Author's Notes: Age is significant to me of how life matters.
The natural extension of age is our children.
How Mabon is the fruit of mature age.
That 2 itself equals matter.
That inside out is the mechanism of being on someone's side.
Responsibility and practicality does not come
without a mature fall.
