Mid-Summer Growth Thanks To the Trees

To give thanks
we manifest a fertile response
of endless Spring & what goes in the ground
A tree holding it down
keeping the back-gate closed all around
springing up a sheltered rose
in their tall unbending fold
pinning down the sky
offering a gentle reach
for shade's relief
from cloudy raindrops release
Ground, shelter, sky, shade, & water
between you & me only goddess makes trees
thanks for making a difference like the one other
Author's Notes: Thanks really does orignate from the idea of fertile response.
That's y so many landscapes on the wall at receptions.
