Cherub
by fearless fallen angel

Soothing, sounding trumpets blare.
Into the night, so holy there.
The light twas edged in white and cream,
The hearts a'melting at the scene.
Glory, glory, glorious sight!
Mine eyes have finally seen the light.
A'twitter beating, sharing faith.
Mine heart has melted all its hate.
Sweet cherubs loom above my head.
Their lovely voices put me a'bed.
Glory, glory, glorious sight.
Mine eyes have finally seen the light.
Angels swarm and flowers shower.
I cannot barely wait the hour.
Ethereal blood and spirit and power,
Have finally washed away my dour.
Oh, one of Light, and hearth and flame,
I know I'm no longer whose to blame.
I feel the warmth of sharpening sight.
I welcome the darkness of this night.
Glory, glory, glorious sight.
Mine eyes have finally seen the light.
