Black/Light

The most beautiful of people is often dead
died from the inside long ago
a love craved once that was never fed
many see them and think how easy thier path must go
but when someone gets the best of me
and turns, distracted, and leaves
it kills the same way as anyone else.
I am black inside from my life
funny how everyone sees my "light"
and the truth is I've already given up the fight
I dont want any more feeling
People are so shady,
twisted and lazy
my own parents would have sold me for a dollar
I will never feel free bound by this collar
I feel there is no cure to the pain
only occasional cool rain
before i am broken again
no one should have to wake up after that
but I still wake up every morning , inside black,
outside light.
