This World

My life is full of hardships I never know what to do,
Nothing is ever good enough
they tell me i am weak and will never be tough.
They laugh at me, scorn me, burn and tear me.
Hate is in my tears, revenge is in my eyes,
you sit there and say you love me, Oh! what a lie!
You try to act perfect, like you never do anything wrong,
I know how to end this sad and disturbing song.
I sometimes walk away,
to the shadows I return
there is nothing for me in this life,
Nothing I can earn.
I want to be happy, I wnat to be free
unfortuanly noon else wants these things for me.
So I sit here in the dark no longer searching for a light
Not a kind or caring person is in my sight
I guess this is how it is
I suppose this is how it shall be
so i will sit here in the dark hating noone
but me.
