My Plea
by Lughpan Greybar
Age Group: Adult
Lord and Lady hear my plea
fill my heart with grace times three.
Bind me to thee and thee to me
Lord and lady come to me.
Let your light emcompass me
that I may be as one with thee
to spread perfect love in word and deed
or aid another in their need.
When words or trials on this day
test my faith or cause me stray
shield my heart and mouth I plea.
Lord and Lady walk with me.
Help me face each trial or test
with strength and patience at its best.
Be I well aware the rule of three
that what I sow returns to me.
Let those about me see your light
shine forth from me with truth and right.
As I will so mote it be
Lord and Lady hear my plea.
