Rain

Sitting in the rain I wait,
For the womth of an elusive star
Comming down harder now
I patiently wait for the wam sun rays
Harder still , the rain does fall,
And here I sit waiting for the sun
Lightning strikes some ways away
Waiting, waiting, here I sit
It slows down now, little by little
That glowing orb starts to shine,
I smile as its rays beam down,
And begin to warm my drenched face.
Author's Notes: I was sitting in the rain....waiting to be picked up to go to school.....and I got bored...had a heck of a time trying not to get my paper wet.
