Good People

I went searching for some good people
I did not have to look in a church or steeple.
Its nice, Pagan folks share a common ground
We just like to listen to Nature's sound.
Our Mother and Father are very proud
When we Honor them alone or in a small crowd.
Judge us not for we are good people
Even if we do not worship in a church or steeple.
We live and let live, and vow to harm none
Wish all people could live together as one!
Author's Notes: I wrote this poem sometime ago after watching the movie the "Power of One". It inspired me when the main character of the flick described a waterfall. He said "A Waterfall is made from many kinds of water drops, all different, but when they come together they make a beautiful thing". I feel that this quote equated to all people, tall, skinny , fat, short, black, white or Asian, Baptist, Catholic or Pagan. No matter what religion, race, Cree, origin, gender, or sexual preference we have, together in harmony we have the capability to be a beautiful thing! Would you not agree? BB~MysticDawn
