The End

It’s nearing the end,
The time’s come again,
But I feel no shame,
Do you feel the same?
This time comes,
The time of darkness,
It comes ever so often, in my short life,
The death, loneliness, sadness,
It is all the same.
Some of this sadness is,
When I want someone to stay longer,
But as always, they leave even quicker.
Why do they torment me like this?
Did I do something wrong?
No, I didn’t, they did.
That’s right
They will always know,
That I want them to stay as long as they possibly can.
But they never will.
They say, that they will always be there for me,
If that is true, then why did they even leave?
I give them more than I can give,
But yet, they treat it as if it was nothing,
Why do they do this to me?
Are they tired of me that much?
Am I that neglectful?
To where anyone can just leave me?
No, I’m not.
They just want me to think that,
To where I can’t even stand myself,
To the point where I can lose myself,
Is this my part, my role in life?
But, there is always that light, that person,
They told me that I saved them,
But, the truth is,
They really saved me instead,
This feeling will always remind me,
That I am never, truly, alone.
