In the Mist

In the Mist
Silver sheath does sparkle
Beneath the golden sun
In the mist of tenderness
Blind pain remains unfound
Daily prayer, song of hope
Angel of the sky
Beyond the mist a healing
Escapes a baneful night
Patterns that redress themselves
Questions remain the same
From the mist there comes a calling
Doth bow by Goddess name
For in the mist no one can see
The truth from jagged stone
Seldom asked, words are lost
Not one in life comes close
Why is it that we never care?
Or wonder of another’s pain
Is that we find ourselves depleted
Enthralled by morbid gain
We are one or so it seems
In body, mind and soul
All among a faithful path
We find our way back home
Sometimes a hand is all we need
To reach in purest love
Is all it takes to heal the tired heart
Unmask our deepest fears
