He Says...

He Says...
He says I need to listen
To the voices on the wind
Live my life in all things good
Have faith in all we've seen
He says at times I'm falling
Fears our paths will end the same
Then he lifts me up so high
To greater things
He is always at my side
He says for all these years
We've spent working
He could not now walk away
For time has brought
Such sacred bonds
No one could so erase
He says he's found forgiveness
For the torment of past days
No longer finds his need to purge
Yet his heart remains the same
He says he'd like to visit
Make his brothers finally proud
Just to say he's listening
When troubles are abound
He says there's shared a magick
Find trust within those eyes of blue
Tell them all that's been
But oh god I have tried
In little ways
Though I've not yet found my path
That little man of past perverse
Just could not in his heart see
He says perhaps one day
They'll listen
To Heaven undenied.
